Is a Real Estate Career EASY or HARD?

The question is often asked; the answer is, "It Depends..."

How much income is enough for you?
(A six-figure income requires more than a limited income)
How do you define HARD?
(Hard like quantum physics or hard like digging ditches)
How willing are you:
    To be uncomfortable?
To work hard in the beginning to make it easy later?
To give up many weekends and evenings for 6 months?
To devote the time it takes - 45 hours per week?

In the Journey to Mastery™ program we ask you to work very hard, feel uncomfortable much of the time, spend long hours, experience a steep learning curve. All in order that six months down the road, you can work easier and smarter while earning six figures.

There is always a pleasure/pain vs. income issue you must face.

A high income in any legitimate endeavor requires your paying the price. In order to be a Doctor, lawyer or engineer, you must spend years learning your trade in college and beyond. In real estate the requirements are different, but nonetheless must be paid.

If you want to avoid all pain (stress, long hours, being uncomfortable) then you will always struggle to get any income. If you surrender to the pain for the first six months, you can build the foundation for a rewarding career with less pain and a high income for life.

HOWEVER, there are lots of career-ending, often unseen, pitfalls along the way. You MUST have the proper BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT training, you must learn to operate in a way that is productive and has a high return on the pain invested. It is very easy to mistake "classes" for training.

A "class" in how to run an escrow is virtually worthless to you and a waste of your time. A "class" in how to read a title report is equally so.

You MUST know how to generate business leads; how to develop business relationships that are strong and loyal. You MUST have a system that will better your business leads over time so you can benefit tomorrow from what you do today.
